Gutter Mount (another name Salasi or Sulasi) is a volcano located in the district located Solok, West Sumatra province, Indonesia.
Gutters Mountain is located about 9 km from the city Arosuka Solok district capital, and about 40 miles east of the city of Padang.
This mountain type with a height of 2597 m stratovolcano, is one of the active volcanoes in West Sumatra, and one of its crater became a lake called Lake Gutters. Mountain Gutters has been erupting since the year 1833 to 2007 [2].

There are four districts that residents living around the foot of this mountain, the district Gumanti Valley, Twin Lakes, Mount Gutters, and Lembang Jaya. The number of residents in four districts it reached 160,000, or one-third of the population Solok district.
On 11 April 2005, Mount Talang erupted again. Followed by the sound of rumbling earthquake and volcanic eruptions that emit dust has lasted at least 42 times. In Aia Batumbuak, the location closest to the source of the eruption, raining dust reached a radius of 5 km, while the thickness of dust on the road to reach 10 cm. On the south side of Mount Gutters formed a new crater that emit sulfur fumes and rain of volcanic dust. A total of 27 000 residents were evacuated from the area.
